PARKER, TEXAS (November
2017) – Tom and Louise Shanley are proud to announce
that Kristen and Jason Ainsworth will be acquiring
Treeline Stables and its property at the beginning of
2018. For nearly 38 years, Treeline Stables has provided
exceptional service in the Hunter/Jumper industry in
North Texas, dedicated to providing a safe,
professional, and nurturing riding experience for both
horse and rider.
“I’ve been here since I
was six, so this is more than a barn to me; it’s a
family business. Nothing has changed in the past 25
years since I started here, and we are excited to not
only keep the business within ‘family’ but to keep
everything running the same as well. This opportunity
means the world to us and we look forward to growing
Treeline for another 25+ years” says incoming owner
Kristen Ainsworth.
Current owner Louise
Shanley adds, “My goal when I was 10 years old was to
own a riding stable. Having been very successful in
making this happen, I see Kristen as being one young
lady who can and will carry on the Treeline legacy. She
is passionate about everything and will keep things
going as it has been for the past 37 years. Everything
will be in good hands with her!”
Kristen Ainsworth, who is
from Allen, started riding at the young age of 4. While
continuing riding at Treeline, she also spent her
amateur years training with some of the top trainers
across the country, including Olympic Coach Maria Long,
while showing nation-wide on the “A” circuit. After her
Junior years, Kristen rode for Oklahoma State
University’s Equestrian Team on a full-ride scholarship.
From a business perspective, she has a very well-rounded
background of business management. With her resignation
coming at the beginning of 2018, she currently sits as
the Operations and Financial Officer for her family’s
multi-million-dollar promotional product business,
Knock-Out Specialties, Inc.
Treeline Stables will
remain its location in Parker and Kristen, along with
her family, will be moving on property. Tom and Louise
Shanley, who founded Treeline Stables in 1980, have
purchased a home in a neighboring town and have plans to
continue traveling the world. Even though they have
decided to retire, Louise will continue to work closely
with Kristen to ensure the transition of ownership and
day-to-day details are seamless.
It is with great
intentions that Kristen continue to provide the same
services and expectations as the years past in providing
the highest level of horse care, riding instruction and
experiences for horses and riders of all levels and
ages.
